SIROLISA headset hanger clamped to the side edge of a computer monitor

SIROLISA monitor-side clamp headset hanger

  • Takes no desk space at all — the mounting surface is the monitor panel
  • Publishes its clamp range, 0.2 to 0.7 in, for the panel edge rather than a desktop
  • 0.2 to 0.7 in (5 to 18 mm) is the narrowest published range in this hub, and a thick-bezelled or curved panel can fall outside it

Best for: A desk with no spare edge and no spare surface, where the monitor is the only thing left to hang from.

Every other holder in this hub needs either a desk edge or a patch of desk surface. This one needs neither: it closes on the side of the monitor, left or right, which is the one vertical edge on most setups that nothing else is using. It fits without adhesive or tools.

The range follows from that and is the narrowest published here — 0.2 to 0.7 in, about 5 to 18 mm — where the desk hooks clamp onto tops from 0.31 in on the EURPMASK up to 1.97 in on the NEETTO. A thin modern panel sits comfortably inside it; a thick-bezelled older monitor or a pronounced curve may not, and SIROLISA publishes no overall size, weight or load limit for the hanger to help you judge the rest.

The cushioning claim is made as a comparison, which is unusual enough to quote: the cradle is “soft silicone-coated” to hold the headband “without damaging the headband, unlike sharp-edged stands that cause wear and scratches over time”. A curved arch with a hook at the end keeps the headband from sliding off, and the clamp itself is silicone-padded, stated to leave no marks on the monitor. At about $10 it costs the same as the Celerion desk hook.

What holds up, and what does not

Best for: A desk with no spare edge and no spare surface, where the monitor is the only thing left to hang from.

Strengths

  • Takes no desk space at all — the mounting surface is the monitor panel
  • Publishes its clamp range, 0.2 to 0.7 in, for the panel edge rather than a desktop
  • Silicone-coated cradle, and a silicone-padded clamp stated to leave no residue or marks
  • A hook at the end of the arch to stop the headband sliding off
  • Fits without adhesive or tools

Compromises

  • 0.2 to 0.7 in (5 to 18 mm) is the narrowest published range in this hub, and a thick-bezelled or curved panel can fall outside it
  • No overall dimensions, weight or load limit published for the hanger
  • Hanging a heavy headset off one side of a monitor loads the monitor arm or stand, which the listing does not discuss

What buyers ask us first

Is it safe to hang a headset on a monitor?

SIROLISA states the clamp is silicone-padded and leaves no residue or marks on removal, and that it fits panel edges of 0.2 to 0.7 in. What it does not address is the load: a heavy over-ear headset on one side of a panel pulls sideways on whatever holds the monitor up. A sturdy arm or stand copes better than a light plastic foot; check that the monitor does not lean once the headset is on.

How is this different from the desk hooks in this hub?

The mounting surface, and therefore the range. The desk hooks clamp onto a desktop — the EURPMASK from 0.31 in (8 mm), the Celerion from 0.47 in (12 mm), the NEETTO up to 1.97 in (50 mm); this one closes on a monitor edge of 0.2 to 0.7 in. A desk hook will not close on a thin panel, and this will not close on most desktops.

Will it fit my monitor?

Measure the thickness of the panel edge where you want to clamp it: SIROLISA states 0.2 to 0.7 in (5 to 18 mm). Thin modern panels usually fall inside that; a thick-bezelled older monitor or a strongly curved one may not.
