LIANGSTAR

Six fans and seven heights — the only cooling pad here that also raises the screen

LIANGSTAR appears once on this site, in laptop stands and coolers, with its six-fan cooling pad.

The most fans, and the most control. Six fans, the most in the hub, running together or as a group of three on two separate switches, with speed set from zero to maximum. LIANGSTAR calls them ultra-quiet but publishes neither a speed nor a noise level — so its airflow cannot be compared with the KLIM’s stated 1200 RPM.

Cooling and height together. It is the only fan pad in the hub whose height adjusts — seven levels — so the screen can come up while the laptop is cooled; the KLIM describes no height setting. A phone holder sits on the side, a metal grille lets heat out, and a non-slip lip at the front stops the laptop sliding. Two USB ports power the pad and pass through a mouse or keyboard.

Sizes and warranty. “Almost all” laptops from 12 to 17.3 in (the title says up to 17 in) — the KLIM takes up to 19 in overhanging — and a 12-month warranty.

Check the seller. No US price could be read when we checked. It read about €23 on amazon.de and £20 on amazon.co.uk, but about €54 on the French, Italian and Spanish stores — a gap that usually means a different seller.
