MediaRange

The only one-piece keyboard here — splash-resistant, rated for 10 million keystrokes, and in German QWERTZ

MediaRange appears once on this site, in ergonomic keyboards, with its wired ergonomic keyboard.

One piece, not split. The other three keyboards in the hub — the Logitech K860, LogiLink and Perixx — are split. This one keeps a one-piece ergonomic shape that MediaRange says suits left- and right-handed users alike. It does not split or tilt, and the listing mentions no wrist rest.

Built for accidents. MediaRange states a splash-resistant build on which small spills have no consequence, and a rating above 10 million keystrokes — the only keystroke figure published in the hub. If a spill does happen, cleaning a keyboard covers what to do.

Check the layout. The listing is German QWERTZ for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with 124 keys including a number pad: Y and Z swap and several symbols move compared with a US keyboard. Do ergonomic keyboards work with a Mac? covers what a regional layout changes. It connects over USB 2.0 on a 1.8 m (5.9 ft) cable, with no driver needed.

It had no US price when we checked.
