ErGear

A complete standing desk and a desktop-less frame — with the highest published load and lift-cycle figures here

ErGear appears twice on this site: its electric standing desk in electric standing desks, and a desktop-less electric frame in standing desk parts.

The figures most desks leave out. The desk states an 80 kg (176 lb) load — the highest published in its hub, where only the VASAGLE (70 kg) gives another — and a lift system tested to 50,000 cycles, against the VASAGLE’s 20,000. The OffiGo, Veken and Desktronic publish neither. How many lift cycles a desk motor should have puts those numbers in context.

The desk. A 140 × 70 cm (55.1 × 27.6 in) top, in two pieces, 15 mm thick, on a 65 mm aluminum lift frame; a 72–118 cm (28.3–46.5 in) range, four memory presets, and noise stated at 55 dB or less. It does not say how many motors drive it. It had no US price when we checked.

The frame alone. A separate model with the same 72–118 cm range and 80 kg (176 lb) rating, four presets and anti-collision, in steel, for your own top from 100 to 161 cm wide and 61 to 76 cm deep. ErGear gives a 5-year warranty on the frame and 2 years on the motor, controller and parts, and US-based product support. There is no manual override if the power fails. It was about $140 when we checked.
