Ergotron appears once on this site, in monitor arms, with its LX Pro monitor arm.
The widest weight range in the hub. 1.8 to 10 kg (4 to 22 lb), for screens up to 34 in — where the Acer, HUANUO and Invision stop at 9 kg. The lower minimum also suits a light screen that other arms might lift too strongly; what monitor size fits a typical arm covers both limits.
A 10-year warranty. Against 12 months on the Acer and 2 years on the Invision, while the HUANUO’s listing gives none.
How it moves. Ergotron’s Constant Force mechanism is designed to hold the screen at any point of its 33 cm (13 in) of height travel, up to 46.5 cm (18.3 in) above the desk, with 360° rotation and 85° tilt. The listing does not name the spring type or give a cycle count — the Acer states 20,000 and the HUANUO 50,000. A rotation stop keeps the screen off a nearby wall, the display plate is quick-release, and cable management is built in.
Check your desk. The clamp fits desks only up to 60 mm (2.36 in) thick — the thinnest limit in the hub, against 80 mm on the Acer and 90 mm on the HUANUO. Measure first: measuring desk thickness for a clamp.
The price. About $199 on Amazon.com when we checked — the highest in the hub, against about $46 for the Acer.
