This is the cheapest way onto this shelf, and the listing is as short as the price suggests. A pair of soft cushions with a sponge filling and a non-slip base, slipped over the existing armrests, washable in a machine, and that is the whole of the published specification.

What is missing is the one thing this hub asks for first. The buying tip at the top of the page is to measure before ordering, and the introduction turns on fit — and this listing publishes no length, no width and no thickness. The cushions alongside it state 9.5 by 4.5 by 1.5 in, 9.8 by 3 by 1.2 in, 9.8 by 4 by 2.7 in, 10.5 by 3.15 by 1.57 in and 11 by 4.5 by 1.5 in. The only measurement attached to this one is its shipping box, 10.1 by 3.2 by 2.4 in (257 × 81 × 61 mm) for the pair, which says each cushion is no longer than about 10 in and nothing more. Against that, “Perfect fit kinds of armchairs, like office chair, home chair, game chair” is not a size.

One oddity about the page itself: it is sold under the brand Jienyuce and titled “Easy-You Office Chair Armrest Covers”, with the product description repeating the Easy-You name. Two names on one listing is worth noticing on a shelf where the right part number matters, and the Amazon reference below is the identifier to order against.

What holds up, and what does not

Best for: A chair whose armrests are a common size, where the cost of being wrong is small.

Strengths

  • The lowest price in this hub, about $8 for a pair — half the next cheapest, the Podoy at $16
  • Non-slip base, so it stays put without straps
  • Machine washable
  • Slips on and off without tools, screws or velcro

Compromises

  • No dimensions published at all — not length, not width, not thickness, on a shelf whose buying tip is to measure first
  • The filling is described as a "premium sponge pad" rather than memory foam, which most cushions in this hub state (the Ketofa and Podoy pads are solid PU)
  • The listing is titled under "Easy-You" while the product is sold under the brand Jienyuce
  • Fit is claimed as "Perfect fit kinds of armchairs" with no range given

What buyers ask us first

What size are they?

The listing does not say. Five bullets describe softness, fit, material, installation and washing, and none of them carries a measurement. This hub’s buying tip is to measure the armrest before ordering, and the other cushions mostly publish a length — 9.5, 9.8, 10.5 and 11 in — and the Western Comfort at least a thickness and the arm width it suits. Here the only figure is the shipping box, 10.1 by 3.2 by 2.4 in (257 × 81 × 61 mm) for the pair, which caps the length of each cushion at about 10 in without saying what it is.

Is sponge the same as memory foam?

No. Jienyuce describes a "premium sponge pad"; the other cushions in this hub state memory foam, and three of them — both Aloudy pads and the BEAUTRIP — state 100 per cent memory foam. Open-cell sponge compresses and springs straight back, memory foam holds the shape of the elbow for as long as weight is on it. Neither is wrong for an armrest, and the difference is why the others name the material.
