Invision

A monitor arm that states its screen limits and a 2-year warranty — and almost nothing about how it moves

Invision appears once on this site, in monitor arms, with its MX200 single arm.

The figures it does give. In the listing title: 19 to 32 in screens of 2 to 9 kg (4.4 to 19.8 lb), VESA 75 and 100 mm, and a desk clamp. The 9 kg ceiling matches the Acer and HUANUO; the 32 in limit matches the HUANUO, 2 in below the Acer and Ergotron. It also offers a 2-year warranty with a compatibility promise — longer than the Acer’s 12 months, though far short of the Ergotron’s 10 years.

The figures it leaves out. No spring type — the Acer states a gas spring, HUANUO a mechanical one, Ergotron its Constant Force mechanism — no cycle test, no desk-thickness range, no height travel and no reach. Those decide whether an arm fits your desk and holds the screen where you set it; ask the seller, and measure your desk edge before ordering.

What the listing spends its words on. Five of six bullets go to climate-neutral certification through less plastic packaging and lower emissions, and to wellbeing language about posture, plus claims to be “one of the strongest, lightest” arms with no figure behind them. The first is the maker’s statement; the second is not something an arm can promise.

Where to buy it. No US price could be read when we checked; it read about €25 on amazon.de and £29 on amazon.co.uk.
