Passive airflow from an angled stand, or four fans at 1200 RPM
Does the laptop run warm under everyday use, or does it genuinely struggle under sustained heavy load?
They answer different needs. The Tonmom raises the screen and leaves the laptop’s underside open to the air, with no fans; the KLIM pushes air with four fans but describes no height setting. KLIM’s cooling claims name no test.

Take the Tonmom stand for everyday typing and browsing, and for genuine portability between locations.
Take the KLIM pad for a laptop that runs hot under sustained load — gaming, video, compiling — or a screen up to 19 in, if you can live without height adjustment.
The Tonmom lifts the laptop up to 6.5 in (16.5 cm). Pair it with a separate keyboard and mouse so your hands stay at desk height — is your monitor at the right height? covers where the screen should sit.
The LIANGSTAR in the laptop stands and coolers hub has six fans and seven heights, but publishes no fan speed and had no US price when we checked.
