Acer

A single and a dual gas-spring arm, both stated to pass 20,000 cycles, both clamp or grommet

Acer appears twice on this site: a single arm in monitor arms and the AMS002 in dual monitor mounts.

20,000 movement cycles, named directly. A specific, checkable durability figure for the gas spring core, described as automotive-grade — more concrete than a general quality claim.

Two mounting methods. C-clamp or grommet insert, for different desk edge types, fitting desktops 15–80mm thick.

Where they sit. The single arm takes 17 to 34 in screens of 2 to 9 kg (4.4 to 19.8 lb), with a 12-month warranty — behind the Ergotron’s 10 years and 10 kg, at about $46 against the Ergotron’s $199. The dual AMS002 carries the same 2 to 9 kg per arm for 17 to 32 in screens, with the longest reach (21.25 in) and height range (18.1 in) among the dual mounts here, at about $70 when we checked. The dual mount’s listing rules out glass and plastic desktops.

Both say it plainly. A spring cycle figure and a desk thickness range (15 to 80 mm for the clamp) are published for each — the figures most arm listings leave out.
